1. Earn my degree in web and graphic design.
2. Learn to roast my own coffee beans.
3. Pay off debt.
4. Read War and Peace.
5. Read 10 Classics.
6. Read 4 Biographies.
7. Read 25 books in a year.
8. Be a tourist in Michigan. (Yay! Family vacation for me and the girls!)
9. Start flossing regularly. (Once per day for at least one month. I used to floss daily, my teeth miss it.)
10. Take off makeup at night and use eye cream. (Again, I used to do this every night, I need this habit back.)
11. Eat every meal with the girls during the week at our dining room table for one month. (even if I order Chinese)
12. Write a novel.
13. Finish my beautiful afghan.
14. Write a cookbook.
15. Create enough recipes to write said cookbook.
16. Go to Taste of Chicago.
17. Write 25 more articles for Examiner.com.
18. Write an article and submit it to a National newspaper. (or edit existing article and submit)
19. Achieve goal weight of 145 lbs.
20. Organize all pictures and music on external hard drive. (including CDs)
21. Self host the blog.
22. Redesign blog.
23. Sign up for a blog consultation with Eli Rose Social Media. (Thanks for the tips, Amanda!) (Completed 1/9/2012)
24. Exercise daily for one month. (with the intention of developing a habit)
25. Run a 5K.
26. Participate in a triathlon. (Danskin?)
27. Do the 40 Days of Purpose/Read The Purpose Driven Life. (I’ve started it before, and loved it.)
28. Take the girls to Chicago. (Shedd Aquarium?)
29. Learn and teach the girls sign language. (Completed 1/2012 and continuing!)
30. Start a retirement fund. (and get more serious about Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover)
31. Go to a concert. (and stay until the end! A first for me!)
32. Attend a blog conference.
33. Meet blog friends.
34. Reorganize the pantry. (Completed 1/10/2012)
35. Organize the girls’ clothing by month and store in Space Bags.
36. Purge clothing that no longer fits. (If it’s too big, it’s gone. Maternity clothes are the exception, just in case.)
37. Start a college fund for the girls.
38. Begin saving for a down payment for a house.
39. Buy a new (to me) SUV.
40. Do my daily devotions every day for one month. (again with the habits…)
41. Write a will.
42. Purchase renter’s insurance with flood protection. (since I live by a river that almost flooded last year)
43. Take the girls to the Zoo.
44. Establish and maintain a blog link-up. (a la Fill in the Blank Friday, iPPP, etc.)
45. Make more friends in town.
46. Write that post I’ve been wanting to write with no fear. (Completed 2/12/12! Read it here: Too Close To Home)
47. Make my own cat food. (and see if Maddie will eat it. Haha!)
48. Purchase a good digital camera. (DSLR, I’m looking at you, sweet cheeks.)
49. Watch America: The Story of Us. (and pay attention)
50. Vote in every election for one year. (local included)
51. Go on a vacation with the girls.
52. Travel Abroad. (Canada doesn’t count. Been there. Done that.)
53. Learn how to change my own oil.
54. Go to a pottery store and paint a set of coffee mugs.
55. No Fast Food for 90 days. (Including pizza delivery, chinese, *and* sandwiches/soup at Panera.)
56. Learn about investing.
57. Fold laundry when it comes out of the dryer and put it away, right away, every time I do laundry, for one month.
58. Build a snow family.
59. Use my Pay It Forward certificates.
60. Participate in NaBloPoMo for three consecutive years.
61. Participate in NaNoWriMo for three consecutive years.
62. Visit a farm and learn more about local agriculture.
63. Harass my trash company to allow me to utilize Recyclebank.
64. Build a Gingerbread House with the girls.
65. Decide on and get my “in memory” tattoo for Fred and Julie.
66. Make the girls toys.
67. Have tea with my grandmother once per month.
68. Do the Bible in 90 Days Challenge.
69. Deliver food to shut-ins.
70. Go to a Wisconsin game.
71. Watch 5 classic movies.
72. Sell something on Etsy. (cloth wipes, planners…)
73. Make imprints of the girls’ hands and feet and decorate.
74. Find a church. (that’s not an hour away)
75. Go for a hike in Grand Mere State Park or Sarrett Nature Center. (with a group)
76. Buy a used headboard. (and refinish)
77. Paint watercolors for the girls’ room.
78. Learn to bake my grandma’s bread.
79. Read The Five Love Languages of Children.
80. Begin counseling.
81. Start a business. (to save money for a cafe)
82. Find a good paying job with benefits.
83. Build a fort with the girls.
84. Write myself a love letter.
85. Write the girls love letters. (Completed 12/5 – 12/7/2011)
86. Write a children’s book.
87. Turn off the TV for one month. (especially in the summer!!)
88. Tip someone 100%.
89. Donate to 5 worthy causes.
90. Eat Vegan for one week.
91. Reduce my trash to one bag per month.
92. Cook/Bake recipes only from my cookbooks for 30 days.
93. Write a letter to my 40 year old self.
94. Go to a Cubs game.
95. Answer the “50 Questions That Will Free Your Mind”.
96. Begin to learn a foreign language. (Either French or Italian)
97. Take a self defense class.
98. Write 10 poems. (2 down! 8 to go!)
99. Develop a signature vinaigrette, spice blend, and sauce. (Sauce: December 2012, Vinaigrette: ??, Spice Blend:??)
100. Have a spa day.
